Arteki capsules contain fish oil, a natural component of omega-3 (EPA/DHA) fatty acids, in addition to garlic, phytosterols and vitamin E. The combination of these ingredients helps to maintain normal cardiac function.
Good fats, also known as omega-3 fatty acids, are essential fatty acids as the body is incapable of producing them by itself. They are commonly found in oily fish, such as sardines, mackerel and salmon. Both EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function and can help to control blood cholesterol.
Phytosterols help to block the absorption of diuretic cholesterol in the small intestine, as its structure is similar to the cholesterol found in our bodies. The benefits can be felt when taking a daily minimum of 0.8 g of phytosterols.
Garlic protects the cardiovascular system, as it helps to prevent the synthesis of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. It can also help to improve blood coagulation and increase the elasticity of the arteries.
Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, helping to protect cells against the damage caused by free radicals.
Directions
Take 3 capsules per day, one with each main meal, accompanied by a glass of water.
